Our Birthday Boy!

It's a little late...but yes my little baby is no longer...he's now one!!  I can't believe how fast (but yet slow) this last year has been.  Levi is definitely not a baby anymore...not walking yet but getting into enough already...he can hold off walking as long as he wants.  As he just proved...as I was writing this it was a bit too quiet and I found him playing in the toilet!  Yuck!  He adds so much to our lives! 

We held off his birthday party because being summer everyone is busy.  He's going to have to get used to delayed birthdays or small birthdays because of having an August birthday.  So we had it a few weeks late...he doesn't know the difference.  He did really well with the attention...he likes attention.  I thought he'd demolish his cake but nope...he slowly picked at it with his little stubby fingers.  That is until we gave him a fork which is his new thing.  He's a little too young for a fork but he seems to think he needs one.  I made him a dump truck cake...it didn't turn out like I had planned, but it tasted good so that's all that counts.  And I made him his own "1" cake.

He got lots of new toys, which Ben had a hard time with.  He was a little bit jealous that these were "Levi's" new toys and not his.  But all in all...they will both use them and that's okay.

The boys also had a great visit with their cousins from Thompson MB.  We don't get to see them very often so it was a wonderful treat to have them here for a few days.  The boys definitely got their share of attention!!
